Race details
Venue and travel: |
The Recreation Ground, Pirton, Hitchin, SG5 3PX. A one-way system for BDR traffic through the village is in operation for safety reasons. Please follow the signs as you enter the village. We will email you a ticket for your chosen car park. |
Car Parking: |
Car parking at the rec can be booked in advance, otherwise you will be parked up to 600m away from the rec. Your car sticker shows which car park group you are in. |
Start Times: |
1000 Optional early start so that both parents can take part (one in the early start, one in the main race) and still handle child care. 1030 Walkers – basically same course as main race, but in reverse and without the two laps of the field at the start, so distance is only 2.5 miles. 1035 Under 13s start two laps of the rec – distance 1km. 1045 Main race start - 3.2 miles, two laps of the rec, then the main loop out to Hambridge Way and back, lap of the rec to finish. 1100 Under 7s race one lap of the field 600m 1120 Prize Presentation |
